Tsveta Kasabova is a Bulgarian choreographer and teacher with international recognition. She is an associate professor of movement at the University of Michigan and has won numerous awards, including four Metro DC Dance Awards for her performance “The Opposite of Killing,” presented at the Kennedy Center and featured in the U.S. State Department’s DanceMotion USA program.
As part of the Dance Routes Festival, Kasabova will hold a hands-on workshop open to dancers, actors, students and anyone interested in contemporary movement and improvisation.
