After successful editions in Sofia, HELIOS for the first time visits Varna with a three-day intensive program for young choreographers at the beginning of their professional path. The format was created to educate, support and inspire the new generation of artists in the field of contemporary dance in Bulgaria. <\/span><\/p>\n

The programme includes:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • lectures on choreography theory;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • practical activities with improvisation, composition and experimentation;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • daily presentation and discussion of the created material;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Group and individual guidance to improve choreographic skills;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Participants have the opportunity to develop their own short choreographic etude, which will be presented on the last day of the training.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The training is led by Vladimir Angelov – choreographer with international experience and director of Dance ICONS, Washington.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t

    Candidate Profile: <\/b><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Age between 18 and 40 years;<\/span><\/li>\n
    • With background and\/or training in contemporary dance, classical ballet, physical theatre and other movement forms;<\/span><\/li>\n
    • With stage experience;<\/span><\/li>\n
    • With a huge interest and dedication to the art of choreography; <\/span><\/li>\n
    • In the early stages of a choreographic career and in the process of becoming a professional;<\/span><\/li>\n
    • He has created and presented short original works in the last three years;<\/span><\/li>\n
    • With advanced knowledge in spoken and written English;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
