Iveta Marinova

“For me, dance is a way of expression and a means of self-improvement.”

Iveta graduated with a Master’s degree in Dance Studies in Berlin, Germany (Freie Universität Berlin). At the same time she worked as a performance artist at the State Opera Berlin. Since 2013 she has been a practicing massage therapist.

During her studies, Iveta has had the opportunity to work with different choreographers and teachers: students have participated in their classes so that they could experience for themselves the different choreographic approaches and methods, which they then analysed, drawing on a solid theoretical base. She also had the opportunity to design and subsequently analyse a stage project in collaboration with various cultural and scientific institutions in Berlin during her studies.

In 2019 Iveta will return to Bulgaria. She is guided by the desire to bring her experience to Bulgaria and to pass on the accumulated knowledge to as many people as possible, touched by the art of dance in one way or another. Although she is from Stara Zagora, she decided to settle in Varna.
