What feelings is the person on the other side of the phone hiding?
“In Her Voice is a dance mono-performance that presents the end of a love through the whirlwind of human emotions experienced by an abandoned woman in her apartment. The performance is inspired by motifs from “The Human Voice”, the evocative play by Jean Cocteau. The play explores the interplay between our bodies and our emotions, and presents a glimpse into the deep emotions each person experiences in the heartbreaking moment of separation.
The performance features Marcella-Vasilena Dimitrova, a dance artist with many years of international experience from France and the UK, a graduate of Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and part of the dance company Jasmin Vardimon 2.
The project is implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture and the National Fund “Culture” under the program “Dissemination” in partnership with The Bookstore – Varna and the festival “Dance Routes”.
